    Okra (Bhindi) Cultivation:
    Climate and Soil:
    * Okra thrives in tropical and subtropical climates with a long, warm, and humid growing
    season.
    * Growth is more vigorous during the rainy season compared to spring/summer.
    * Seeds fail to germinate below 20°C, with an optimum germination temperature of 29°C.
    * Okra can be grown on all types of soils that are friable.
    * It grows best in light soils ranging from sandy loam to loam.
    * Okra can tolerate slightly acidic soil with a pH range of 6.0 to 6.8.
    Agronomic Practices:
    * Sowing Time:
    * North Indian plains (spring): February-March.
    * Rainy season (throughout India): June-July.
    * Optimum sowing time for seed crop: Middle of June.
    * Seed Rate:
    * Up to 15th February: 15-18 kg/acre.
    * March sowing: 8-10 kg/acre.
    * June-July sowing: 4-6 kg/acre.
